Doctors clean the premises while patients at Sms Hospital receive blood without replacement | Jaipur News - Times of India

    JAIPUR: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the SMS Hospital distributed blood to needy patients without asking attendants for replacement on Monday. Some private blood banks also took the same initiative.
    Dr Bhim Singh Meena, head of department of immuno haematology and transfusion medicine, SMS Medical College said that they have provided blood without any replacement to the patients without asking for replacement on Gandhi Jayanti.

    Besides, doctors used brooms to clean the institute of traumatology and orthopedics (ITO), a wing of SMS Hospital.
    Dr Anurag Dhakar, Nodal Officer of ITO, said celebrating the birth anniversary of father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, all the doctors and nursing officers of the ITO have joined hands to strengthen the resolve of the Swachh Bharat Mission. “If we keep the hospital premises clean, it will help in the treatment of patients and the rate of infection will be minimal,” said Dr Dhakar.
